You are required to provide an analysis of an organisation’s operations management answering the questions attached in the briefing document. You are to choose one organisation from a sector that you are interested in. Please feel free to choose a company that you work for: you will just have to acknowledge this within your referencing. 1. Choose a sector/industry that you are interested in as this will help narrow down your chosen organisation

This information will be primarily driven from their websites and news articles (as well as industry reports). More popular organisations will have more information available.

Once you have identified your organisation, please write a report answering the following questions:
1. Provide an overview of your organisation and the products/services it provides. 
2. Develop one process map of a process of your choice. This may include: the customer order fulfilment process for a particular product/service, a manufacturing process, the supplier replenishment process, the overall supply chain process etc. It is your choice to choose to focus on one part of the operation which may include one product/service. This map should be A4 landscape, and please ensure that you provide a legend detailing what the symbols mean 
3. Discuss how the following operations components may be defined within your organisation, related specifically to the process map. 

1. Capacity
2. Demand forecasting
3. Inventory

4. Describe the current and potential operational challenges faced by your organisationbased on the process you mapped in question 2. These may be problems related to some of the components you identified in question 3. 
5. Provide recommendations for improving the operations challenges discussed in the previous section.
