Choose two well-known contemporary or historical leaders. Use “desk-based” research and secondary data from published works (e.g. newspapers, books, academic articles, or quality internet sources) to critically evaluate and analyse the leaders. The essay should include: an introduction; a concise explanation and justification of your key concepts; a profile, analysis, and critical evaluation of each leader’s approach to leadership using evidence and concepts; a later section comparing / contrasting both leaders; and a conclusion. Emphasise your essay structure, key concepts, and central themes and arguments. Cite and reference sources accurately.

• Answers should be 2,500 words long (+/- 10%, excluding references)
• The answer should take the form of a properly structured short essay.

• Your assignment should be clearly written following academic conventions.
• Your assignment must contain a COVER PAGE with the Module Name, Module Code, your Student Registration number, and your Essay Title. Do not include your name here.
• Word-process the assignment, in a MS Word compatible format, font size 12pt, 1.5 lines spacing and page numbers. PDF is acceptable, but MS Word is preferable.
