What is a “Take-Home Assignment”?
A “Take-Home Assignment” is a written examination that you complete at home. It is a questionguided homework, in which – similar in structure to a written exam – individual short-answer questions need to be solved independently at home within a given time. The MK102 Take-Home Assignment is “open book”, which means you are allowed to use any materials uploaded on the MK102 course websites on StudIP or ILIAS. Thus, you can use the lecture slides and reading materials, as well as your own notes. Calculators may be used if needed.

How it works:
You will be able to download the assignment files in electronic form from ILIAS. The issue time for the assignment is Thursday, 17.02.2022 at 10:00 am (CET). From this time on, you can download the assignment from ILIAS. You can decide when to start the assignment, but your assignment solution must be uploaded by Friday, 18.02.2022 at 10:00 am (CET) the latest. You can take the full 24 hours to work on your assignment.
After you have registered for the assignment, we will assign you to an “assignment group” in ILIAS, which has access to the assignment file. The assignment will only be visible from 10:00 am (CET) on Thursday, February 17th.
You must upload your assignment solution as either a single Word or PDF document to ILIAS. The assignment MUST be taken completely alone. It must be written by yourself, without the help of others. You will have to confirm that you have taken the assignment by yourself with your electronic signature (the respective declarations will be provided with the assignment file).
