Provide a reflective account on a critical incident that occurred in a lecture on ONE of the topics presented below, focussing on your learning and development. You must highlight the significance of this critical incident in relation to your chosen health and social care profession. Use Gibb’s reflective cycle to carry out this reflection. Provide tabulated SMART goals to demonstrate how you will fulfil your chosen Health and Social Care professional role.

Guidance
1. You should write a reflective account on critical incident in a lecture. The slide dedicated to each week will be highlighted with an orange cloud in the lectures.
2. The critical incident can either be positive or negative. The critical incident should focus on your learning and development.
3. Your reflection should focus on your chosen Health and Social Care profession in the future.
4. Your reflection can be written in the first person.
5. You should also provide a short introduction to the reflection.
6. You should clearly label each of the six stages in Gibb’s reflective cycle.
7. Literature should be used to support your reflection.
8.Your SMART goals should detail FIVE ways in which you aim to develop to fulfil a chosen Health and Social Care profession through learning or training.
9.When reflecting on your critical incident. student names should be anonymised. You can use a pseudonym e.g. John for real name Fitzpatrick or codify names. e.g. Student A for real name Cassandra.
10.You should use a minimum of 6 sources from your reference list (three from the below core reading list) and three independently sourced resources from the ARU library.
