Question 1
Student Response to Academic Feedback: This is designed to highlight the value of feedback and self-reflection to develop your academic skills for future submissions. Using the provided template students are required to review the academic feedback and marks allocated to your assessment task and consider how the overall task can be improved and further developed. Once your assessment has been marked, students are required to review the marker feedback and respond to the feedback (include a snapshot of the markers comments) considering how you could alter or further develop your work to improve it. Considering the comments from the marker show how you would add, alter, adjust or remove content to better the overall assessment (using specific services and resources). 

Using the ‘Foundations of professional planning 9799 Assignment 2: Response to academic Feedback Template’ available on canvas (structed by Borton’s (1970) model of reflection) you are required to summarise in your own words the marker feedback that details the further development that would improve the overall quality of your submission. It may be the type of evidence that was chosen to support claims, the structure of your work, grammar, spelling or referencing that requires development. You must then identify one aspect of the academic feedback that is significant to your academic writing development and state why this feedback is of significance.  You must state how you will apply the feedback to future academic improvement and identify the supports you can access to help with your future development. Insert a snapshot/screenshot of your comments from Assignment2. 

Rubric: Excellent, a detailed well-articulated reflection using Borton’s model that demonstrates insight and specific strategies to improve in the future. A ‘snap-shot’ of rubric from Assessment 2 is included.
 

Question 2.
4 SMART goals (within a 5-year plan)- goals must cover the following themes: professional, academic, skills focused and personal, can be short, medium term or long-term goals that would be achievable within the 5 year timeframe. This can be set out in table form- an example table template will be available on the Canvas site. Or you may wish to create your own table. Write it concisely. 

Please include one Professional goal, one academic goal, 1 skilled focused goal, and one personal goal. I am a nursing student. So, try to make it based on nursing student goals. Please write it according to that template.

Rubric: 1. Excellent, four well-structured SMART relevant goals are identified which establish intentions for academic, professional, skills-based and personal directions for the next 5 years. 2. Interrelated and specific strategies to achieve goals relevant to academic, professional, skills-based and personal aspirations for the next 5 years are clearly articulated. 3. Question no 3. 
Strengths and weakness. Identify your own individual strengths and weaknesses that could be considered a transferrable nursing skill. You may like to consider your skills gained through work experience and co-curricular activities. Avoid making generic statements (i.e. teamwork), instead discuss how you know these are your strengths and weaknesses. Explore how enhancing your strengths and improving your areas of weakness will benefit you as a nursing professional. 

Rubric: 1. Excellent, a range of personal strengths and weaknesses are clearly identified and described comprehensively.  2. All identified personal strengths and weaknesses have clear relevance to the valued professional capabilities of nursing that you have already identified. 3. How enhancing personal strengths and improving weakness will benefit you as a professional is discussed persuasively.
