The goal of Dreamworks programmes is to provide people with a stimulating educational environment for learning important interpersonal skills and to offer support in applying, sustaining and further developing these skills back in their lives. Dreamworks Consultant has developed a database to keep data on trainee and trainers. It keeps track of which trainee are assigned to which trainers. Each trainee is assigned to a single trainer, but each trainer might be assigned many trainees.

Answer the following questions:

1. Complete the information in the table above:

i. Table: Trainee
ii. Table: Trainer 

2. Print screen both tables once you complete all the information. Sort from ascending order for Trainee Name and descending order for Leader Name. Print screen the results.

3. Identify the Primary Key for both tables and define the structure by specifying the field name, data type and description. Print screen the design views.

TASK 2:

1. Create referential integrity (relationship) for both table and print screen the result.
 
2. Total the payment for Trainer Payment (per hour) field in Trainer table. Save the result and print screen.

3. Create a Simple Query Wizard for both Trainee and Trainer table and rename as Trainee Query and Trainer Query. Print screen the query.

4. Create the query based on Trainee and Trainer table. In the Trainee table only show Trainee ID, Trainee Name, Training Level and Duration while for Trainer table choose only Trainer ID, Leader Name, Trainer Name, Group Name and Trainer Payment. Do not show Group Name field in the query and set criteria more than 500 for Trainer Payment field and in or row only show Training Level “basic”. Sort ascending for Trainee Name and descending for Trainer Payment. Save as Query 1 and print screen both design and datasheet view.

5. Based on the query 1 you have done, create a new calculated field named Total Payment. Show only the Trainee ID, Trainee Name, Training Level, Leader Name, and Trainer payment (per hour). Clear all criteria and or row. Save as Trainee-Trainer Calculated Query and print screen the result and design view.

6. Create form for both Trainee and Trainer table by adding Trainee ID, Trainee Name, Training Level, Name of Training, Phone Number, Duration and Trainer ID from Trainee table. Add Trainer ID, Leader Name, Leader Email Address, Leader Phone Number and Group Name from Trainer Table. Rename the form as Trainee form and Trainer form. Print screen the form.

7. Create Split Form for Trainee table. Print screen the result and do not save.

8. Create report for both Trainee and Trainer table by adding Trainee ID, Trainee Name, Training Level, Name of Training, Duration and Trainer ID from Trainee table, grouping the report by Trainee ID. Then for Trainer Report, add Trainer ID, Trainer Name, Leader Name, Group Name, Trainer Payment (per hour) from Trainer Table, grouping the report by Trainer ID. Rename both report as Trainee Report and Trainer Report. Resize the fields if necessary. Print screen the reports.

9. Create a report based on the query above (No.5). Grouping the report by Trainee ID. Choose Stepped report and print landscape orientation. Resize the fields if necessary. Save a report as Trainee -Trainer Calculated Report.

10. Open Trainer table and use Filter by Selection to find the record “Does Not Equal to RM300”. Print screen the table and remove the filter.

11. Based on both, Trainee and Trainer tables create Multitable Report by select Trainee ID, Trainee Name, Training Level, and Duration, Trainer ID, Trainer Name, and Group Name view your report by Trainee name and grouping levels by Trainee ID. Name the report as Multitable Report. Resize the fields if necessary. Print screen the report.

12. Add subreport in Trainee Report by choose Query 1 as the subreport and save as Query 1 subreport. Print screen the subreport.

13. Create a new form by using form design based on Trainer Table by adding Trainer ID, Trainer Name, Leader Name, Leader Email Address and Trainer Payment and save as Trainer Master Form. Add a combo box by choosing any suitable field in the form. Print screen the form.

14. Based on Trainer Master Form created in 13, add suitable command buttons to the form. Print screen the form.

15. Create new form consist of Trainer ID and Trainer Name, then create multipage form by using tab control in the newly created form. Then, add the subform based on Trainee Form created earlier in the first tab while create any suitable chart by adding Total Payment field, and Trainer Name from Trainee -Trainer Calculated Query. Modify and format the chart and name both of the tabs as Trainee and Total Payment. Save the form as Trainer Profit Form. Print screen both tabs of the multipage form.

16. Save your database.
